Cake style of the moment

The Lambeth cake is a classic British cake style characterised by its intricatly piped buttercream frosting details, often featuring delicate, elegant flourishes. The style was popularised in the 1930s and is named after the "Lambeth piping" technique, which originated in a centuries-old English tradition of "over-piping".  Currently experiencing a 2025 renaissance, this is definitely a cake that brings the joy!
